World Cup 2026: Final two matches to be shown live on BBC TV

The World Cup third-place match between England and France on Saturday and the World Cup final on Sunday will be broadcast live on BBC TV.
A day after France lost 2-0 to Spain in the last four rounds, England lost dramatically 2-1 to Argentina in Wednesday’s semi-final.
Saturday’s match, now known as the bronze final, will start at 22.00 GMT.
Argentina will face Spain in the final one day later, with kick-off at 20:00 GMT.
Both matches will be shown live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with live commentary available on BBC Radio 5 Live. ITV will also broadcast the final live.
The BBC Sport website will feature TV and radio broadcasts for both matches, as well as live text commentary and in-game highlights.
Both games will be available in ultra-high definition (UHD).
The BBC Sport website will also offer the Fifa World Cup 3D experience.
