Ignoring the West’s warnings to stop the war, Russia has exhibited the largest drone factory hidden from the world so far. This drone factory is located in the Tatarstan Alabuga region in the private economic region. It is close to the town of Yayabuga, which is more than 1000 km from the Ukrainian border. This factory is the center of Russia’s military campaigns, including the development of Geran-2 drones in large capacity. Geran-2 is the Russian version of the HAHED-136 Iran. Images were shown in Zvezda, the Russian army’s TV channel on Sunday. The director of the facility described it as the world’s largest strike drones manufacturer.
Young people working in the drone factory
The filming, a documentary film, showed hundreds of large black completed Geran-2 suicide plane in the secret facility targeted by Ukraine long-range drones. Zvezda said that the Alabuga factory in Tatarstan, Russia, after completing the ninth grade (14-15 years) of the school students, invited the factory to work nearby and thus they could work in the factory when they finished the university.
Young workers, including young people, have been shown by examining computer screens or making individual components, or assembling drones.
More stretching drones
Timur Shagivaleyev, the general manager of the factory, told Zvezda that the first plan was to produce “Thousands of Thousand Geri Drones” and that the factory now produces nine times more than that. Last month, a Russian think tank close to the government, Russia’s drone production increased by 16.9% in May, and President Vladimir Putin’s output to increase the output of the previous month.
Both sides deployed the drones on a large scale, not only on the battlefield, but also to identify and hit goals far beyond the front lines. Zvezda said that the Alabuga factory has its own drone test floor and showed parked US RAM vans carrying Geran-2 drones.
