JioHotstar on Friday announced that Rohit Shetty will replace Salman Khan as the host of Ka Vaar this Weekend. Sharing a poster of the filmmaker, the OTT platform said, “This Weekend Ka Vaar, Rohit Shetty brings a blockbuster blend of action and drama.” he wrote. Before Rohit, Farah Khan replaced Salman and the audience loved this Weekend Ka Vaar. Now, time will tell whether Rohit can live up to the fans’ expectations as the host.
The reason for Salman’s absence is not yet known. However, it seems that the superstar was busy with his Dabangg tour in Qatar and could not shoot for Weekend Ka Vaar. Salman will be performing at the Asian City Amphitheatre in Doha today (November 14) along with Tamannaah Bhatia, Prabhu Deva, Maniesh Paul, Sunil Grover, Jacqueline Fernandez and Stebin Ben. A video from the tour’s press conference hit the internet this morning; Salman is also seen dancing while Stebin sings the song “Ooh Jaane Jaana”.

Mridul Tiwari was evicted in the midweek elimination after receiving the least votes during the live audience task. Amaal and Gaurav had a heated argument after the singer and Farhana accused Gaurav of playing a “character” in the Bigg Boss house instead of showing his true personality. The argument then turned into nepotism and Amaal felt that Gaurav was mocking her struggles.
