Yamuna Swells Past 207m in Delhi, Floodwater Inundates Nearby Areas

New Delhi: Delhi’s water level in the Yamuna River on the Old Railway Bridge, even if the flood water coming from the angry river continued to keep the nearby areas under water, it was standing at 207.48 meters in the morning. According to official data, the level remained constant between 6 and 7 in the morning at 207.48 meters.
The level at 5 in the morning was at 207.47 meters, while at 207.48 meters at 6 o’clock. According to the authorities, the water level was static between 2 and 5:00 and 207.47 meters.

Flood Control Bulletin, published on Wednesday evening, said that the water level of the old railway bridge will be 207.48 meters at 8 am and it would fall after that.
The old railway bridge serves as an important observation point to monitor the flow of the river and potential flood risks.
According to the Revenue Department, 8,018 people moved to tents, 2.030 13 was shifted to the permanent shelter.
The government stressed that there is no need to panic and that the clock was on a watch on the situation.
