Zack Polanski ‘falsely claimed to have worked at the Ministry of Justice while standing for election’
Zack Polanski faces new questions about his integrity after admitting he falsely claimed to work for a government agency while running for office.
The Green Party leader wrote on a campaign website in 2020 that he was ‘currently working on the Department of Justice’s education and diversity programs.’
But after it was revealed that the Justice Department had no record of him as an employee, he admitted that he had actually been hired as an actor through Kreate, a temp agency, to help appoint judges through role-playing scenarios.
It comes just days after the Green leader was forced to admit that he had falsely claimed to be a Red Cross spokesman when he was running to become Green deputy leader in 2022.
Mr. Polanski faces bigger problems after his party failed to make the impact he wanted in last week’s local elections.
This came after he was personally involved in a fight over a street attack that left two British Jews injured.
His personal popularity plummeted after he claimed police were rude in subduing him when they arrested a knife-wielding suspect at the scene.
He also faces questions about whether he should pay council tax on the boat he owns.

The Daily Mail has found that Zack Polanski is registered on the electoral register at a building at a marina in east London where he keeps a narrowboat.
A spokesman said he used the Olympian ‘occasionally’ and paid council tax as part of the rent for a flat in East London.
But when his partner listed the boat for sale online for £100,000, he described it as their ‘fabulous home for three years’. The ad was later removed.
The Daily Mail found that the Green Party leader was registered on the electoral register at a building at a marina in east London where he keeps a narrowboat.
Mr. Polanski delivered mail to the same marina building and regularly collected laundry from the canal barge he shared with his partner, Richie Bryan, for several years.
Tax expert Dan Neidle said last night that if the boat was their main home they would have to pay council tax.
And if it was used only occasionally, as the Greens claim, he may have committed a crime by registering to vote in a place where he does not reside.
