The Senior Men’s Selection Committee has selected the India A team for the Asian Cricket Council’s (ACC) Rising Stars Asia Cup.

The tournament will take place in Qatar between 14-23 November at the West End International Cricket Stadium in Doha.

The teams are divided into two groups: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong and Sri Lanka are in Group A, while India A, Oman, UAE and Pakistan are in Group B alongside ‘A’.

Indian wicket-keeper batsman Jitesh Sharma will lead the side as the deputation for Punjab all-rounder Naman Dhir.

The squad includes young batting star Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who was first called up to the India A team when he was just 14 years old.

Suryavanshi added another trophy to his name when he scored the fourth fastest Youth Test century in history with 78 balls for India U19 against Australia U19 in the Youth Test held at the Ian Healy Oval last month. He also broke the record for most career sixes in Youth ODI cricket during his knock of 70 off 68 balls in the second India U-19 vs Australia U-19 50-over match played at the same venue in September.

IPL 2025 breakout star Priyansh Arya has also been selected in the squad. Priyansh, who made his IPL debut in 2025 when he was just 24 years old, has emerged as one of the standout players of PBKS.
