Singer Robbie Williams surprises 94-year-old Grimsby fan

This was the moment a 94-year-old fan of Robbie Williams’ wish came true.
Norma, a resident of Humberston Care Home in North East Lincolnshire, told staff she had followed the singer since Take That and always wanted to see him.
The house organized for him to see the Robbie Williams tribute show and then went one step further and arranged for him to speak to the singer; The singer admitted that her daughter, who saw Norma’s story online, encouraged her to call.
Norma said: “I was absolutely stunned. I was really surprised.
“Nothing like this has ever happened to me before.
“He was in America, lying in bed. I almost told him he could finish it off for me!”
The moment was organized by Bailey Greetham, who runs fitness and wellness sessions with residents and films videos on behalf of the house.
He added: “He said I went to the Robbie Williams memorial but I was a bit upset because that’s not the real Robbie.
“I had the camera with me so I said let’s shoot something and we put it online and it got a million views and Robbie was tagged 5,000 times.”
