Air India Suspends Flights To Israel Till May 31

New Delhi: Amid the ongoing war in West Asia, Air India has suspended all its flights to Israel. Flights on the New Delhi-Tel Aviv route have been suspended until May 31, an Air India official said.
More than 40,000 Indians in Israel are facing difficulties due to the suspension of flights and many are forced to travel via Jordan or Egypt. Meanwhile, the Indian Embassy in Tel Aviv stepped up support, maintained constant contact with the community, opened a 24/7 hotline and launched a large-scale registration campaign. A.
Ambassador JP Singh and his team recently held a virtual meeting with Indian workers and students, listening to their concerns and assuring them of continued assistance during and after the crisis.
Air India and Air India Express together operate regular scheduled and non-scheduled flights to the West Asia region and select destinations.
