West Bengal elections 2026: Visva Bharati teachers write to Vice-Chancellor, flag ‘extremely stressful’ poll duties

teachers of West Bengal Visva Bharati University has written a letter to Vice-Chancellor Probir Kumar Ghosh about the “highly stressful” poll-related duties, requesting the Election Commission’s immediate intervention.

In a letter dated April 26, several faculty members of the Central University said they were under “extreme mental and physical stress” due to their constant assignment for survey-related work across districts.
