Bride asks Burnham to vacate No 10 North for her wedding | News

Bride-to-be Saz Burwin, who has been planning her wedding for months, now faces a problem.

Saz and his partner are getting married at Manchester Register Office at Heron House, home of new prime minister Andy Burnham’s No 10 North.

When Mr Burnham held his first meeting with ministers at his new headquarters in Manchester on Friday, it was surrounded by a high-security presence; Saz thought this might get in the way of his big day next month.

She posted a video directed at Andy Burnham on TikTok, in which she begged to spend her big day without being surrounded by security and police.

Mr Burnham responded to the video a few hours later with a two-word comment: ‘Noted Reed’.
