Daveigh Chase, The Ring and Lilo & Stitch star, died of Aids

At the time of her death, Chase’s father, John David Schwalier, told the New York Times that Chase was homeless and living in Los Angeles with her boyfriend before her death.
The former child star started acting at the age of four and had her first job in Hollywood when she was seven, but retired from full-time acting in 2015, her manager said.
Her first TV role in Hollywood, at the age of seven, was a small part in the popular sitcom Sabrina the Teenage Witch, led by Melissa Joan Hart.
Chase’s breakthrough in Hollywood came in 2001 when she appeared as Samantha Darko in Donnie Darko and later played the title character’s sister in the 2009 film S Darko.
In 2002, Chase played Samara Morgan, a long-haired ghost crawling from television, in the horror film The Ring, an American remake of the Japanese classic about a videotape that causes people to die after watching it.
He won the MTV Movie Award for best villain in 2003 for his role as a demonic, demonic character who crawls on his victims’ hands and feet before killing them.
Also in 2002, she voiced Lilo, the Hawaiian girl who admires Elvis, in the hit animated film Lilo & Stitch.
The role earned him the Annie Award for best voice acting in an animated feature, and he continued to voice the character in spin-off series.
