EaseMyTrip plans Oman-India charter flight for stranded travellers in Gulf, founder Nishant Pitti says

Nishant Pitti, founder and chairman of travel platform EaseMyTrip, announced in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that he plans to operate charter flights from Oman to India to help stranded passengers return home safely.

“If you or someone you know needs help, please join the channel and share this message widely,” Nishant Pitti wrote to X.

He also urged people to join a WhatsApp channel for updates and travel support aimed at helping Indians stranded in the United Arab Emirates.

These efforts come after the situation in the Middle East has become highly tense due to the escalating conflict between the United States, Israel and Iran, which, according to multiple reports, killed Tehran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Hundreds of flight cancellations were witnessed over the weekend in major hubs including Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Muscat. As a result, many Indians are reportedly stranded in conflict-affected countries.
