Ex-AFL player Ryan Crowley to face trial over alleged threats, assaults against MAFS star Lauren Dunn

Former AFL player Ryan Crowley, 42, will appear in court after denying threatening and assaulting ex-girlfriend Married At First Sight star Lauren Dunn.
Mr Crowley is charged with multiple domestic violence-related offenses against Ms Dunn, which occurred in 2019, 2020 and 2025, including threats to kill, assault and being armed or pretending to be armed in a way that would create fear.
Six charges, including strangulation, assault and endangering the life, health or safety of a person, were sent to the Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday for a hearing date.
Mr Crowley had previously pleaded not guilty to 13 charges against him in early March.
On Tuesday the court was told there would be a three-day hearing in Perth Magistrates’ Court.
A future court date is expected to be set when Mr Crowley’s case returns to court on October 13.
Crowley was drafted with the Fremantle Dockers in 2002 and made 188 appearances for the club, scoring 117 goals and gaining Life Member status.
He was suspended for a year after testing positive for a banned substance in 2015 and spent a season with the Essendon Bombers before retiring.
Dunn appeared in season 11 of MAFS in 2024.
