‘Friday Night Lights’ star Adrianne Palicki on leaving LA for Texas

“Friday Night Lights” star Adrianne Palicki found something in Texas that she knew Hollywood would never give her.
In an interview with Fox News Digital at a special fan screening celebrating the 20th anniversary of the iconic show hosted by Plex and ATX TV, Palicki explained that she found the “heart” she lacked while living in the “negativity” of Los Angeles.
“My heart. A lot of my friends aren’t actually in the industry, but it gives us creative freedom and now a huge industry is starting to develop there,” he began, referring to Austin, Texas. “We can make the movies we want to make.”

The actor revealed that shooting movies in Los Angeles requires a lot of money. “And in Austin, you can get together with your friends and do that. You know, dig in and do whatever you want to do, and I think that’s really special,” Palicki said.
He explained that he decided to take action thanks to the shooting of the movie “Friday Night Lights”. Palicki told Fox News Digital that she moved to Texas entirely after filming the pilot and would initially stay with Connie Britton, who plays Tami Taylor on the hit show.
“I’m thinking of getting out of the element that can sometimes be negative in Los Angeles, where we’re all competing for the same thing,” he said of his decision to move. “It’s such a positive environment and community,” Palicki said of Texas. he said.
“Friday Night Lights” premiered in 2006 and Plex and ATX TV are celebrating its 20th anniversary. Plex and ATX hosted the event as part of a nationwide tour to celebrate the show’s 20th anniversary. It has upcoming stops in New York and Kansas City.

“I’m probably one of those people who wakes up a little late, cuddles with my dog. I’m walking on a lake, it’s lush, lush, humid, the food is incredible,” she continued. “I understand the sense of community.”

“I think this was the beginning of a very interesting filming process. I don’t know if I can speak for others, but it changed my life, it changed my acting style, it gave me instincts that not many actors have,” he began.

“We don’t get the freedom of that. We’re told where to go, where to stand, whatever, no notes. Being able to improve yourself, trusting the writers, trusting our castmates, all the cameras on you at the same time. It’s a very special thing and it changed television forever,” Palicki continued. “People try to copy it, but I think it’s a very special show.”
