‘Hamas No Longer A Strategic Threat’: Ex-Israeli Security Chiefs Urge Trump To Help End Gaza War | World News

Washington/Tel Aviv: A group of more than 600 retired Israeli security guards, including former presidents of Mossad and Shin Bet, called on US President Donald Trump to intervene and suppress the war in Gaza immediately.
Currently, Israeli Security Commanders (CIS), the signature, Pardo, former Mossad Chief Ami Ayalon, former president of Shin Bet, former Prime Minister Ehud Barak and former Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon, such as high -profile people. They applied directly to Trump, showing the impact on the Israeli leadership.
“It is our professional judgment that Hamas no longer pose a strategic threat to Israel,“ he says.
The group believes that the ongoing military operations are unnecessary and that the war goes beyond its original goals.
“Your reliability with the vast majority of Israelis increases your ability to direct the Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu and the government are in the right direction: Finish the war, reversal hostages and stop pain. ”
Their defense plans to intensify the military action in Gaza, as well as indirect cease -fire talks with Hamas.
Meanwhile, the conditions on the ground are broken. According to the Ministry of Health operated by Hamas, more than 60,000 Palestinians have been killed since the war began in October 2023. The Ministry reported 94 deaths, including at least 24 people killed in the last 24 hours. It is difficult to verify these claims due to restrictions that prevent international journalists from entering independently into Gaza.
The human crisis increased. The region continues to face serious famine from the basic materials due to Israel’s restrictions on aid. The Ministry says that at least 180 people, including 93 children, died of malnutrition. UN -supported agencies warn that famine is no longer a risk, not a risk.
The letter of retired authorities watched the circulation of the last two pledge video published by Hamas and Islamic Jihad. The images weakened Israeli prisoners and triggered a wave of condemnation. On the other hand, Netanyahu made sure that their efforts to make hostages to their families would not stop.
An anonymous Israeli official said that Netanyahu Netanyahu is trying to achieve this with a full military defeat, a strategy of pledge families and supporters.
Representing the pledge families, the group strongly criticized the idea of a renovated attack. “Netanyahu directs Israel and hostages to Doom,” he said.
Former Shin Bet Chief Ami Ayalon reiterated this feeling. “At first, this war was a fair war, the defense war, but when we achieved all military goals, this war stopped being a fair war,” he said.
The CIS letter directly makes Trump a charm and reminds him of his past influence in Lebanon. “Stop the Gaza war! Israel’s former IDF generals and MOSSAD, Shin Bet, Police and Diplomatic Corps equivalents on behalf of the CIS, we call you to end the Gaza War. You did this in Lebanon. It is time to do this in Gaza,” he wrote.
Israel’s diplomatic stance was globally eroded and an international condemnation of civilian losses in Gaza. The public in many countries has changed against Israel and added pressure to the Western governments to end the conflict.
President Trump, who is constantly standing by Netanyahu, remains unclear whether Trump will act on appeal. Last week, the US President accepted the “real hunger” reports in Gaza despite the denial of Netanyahu.
