JP Nadda To Inaugurate Critical Care Block On July 9

: The newly designed ICU block at the former government general hospital here will be inaugurated by Union health minister JP Nadda on July 9.
This was announced by local MP Keseni Sivanath on Thursday.
During the hospital visit, the MP reviewed the progress of the state-of-the-art block, interacted with engineers and officials and assessed the status of the remaining works. He said that the modern facility equipped with advanced medical infrastructure will significantly strengthen healthcare services for Vijayawada and its neighboring areas.
The MP held talks with doctors and hospital staff regarding the provision of medical services and infrastructure needs. He interacted with patients and their attendants to understand their complaints and sought suggestions for improving hospital facilities.
Responding to the hospital superintendent’s request, the MP promised him that two waiting rooms for patients and attendants would be constructed through MPLADS funds. Emphasizing that public health remains the government’s top priority, he called on doctors and staff to provide compassionate, responsible and quality treatment.
The new buildings have advanced medical equipment, spacious wards and improved infrastructure.
Speaking later at a comprehensive meeting attended by Telugu Desam leaders and cadres from the Vijayawada West assembly constituency, the MP reviewed the Intintiki Telugu Desam outreach campaign and ongoing organizational efforts and programs celebrating two years of the alliance government in Andhra Pradesh.
