This is the moment a brazen thief broke into I’m A Celeb star Lady Colin Campbell’s castle and stole one of his children’s Christmas presents.

The 76-year-old socialite, who starred in the 2015 series of the reality show, will offer a reward to anyone who helps catch a burglar who broke into her home in Castle Goring, near Worthing in West Sussex.

He spent a fortune restoring the Grade I Listed building to its former glory and now runs the property as a wedding venue.

But Lady C’s peaceful life in the countryside was interrupted this month when a man entered the big house to buy a holiday gift.

The royal author, who has written books about the likes of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the late Princess Diana, has revealed CCTV footage of the daring burglary at the castle’s front entrance.

In the clip, the property’s large front door can be seen opening from the outside before a bearded man, who appears to be wearing white jeans and a white jacket, enters the castle’s patio area.

He then moves towards the other side of the entrance, carrying a torch, and appears to be bending over to pick something up from the ground.

Lady C, who shared the images on social media, is seen sitting on a chair in her home and saying: ‘Someone came to the castle and brazenly stole Misha’s Christmas gift, or one of the Christmas gifts she gave to Dima.

‘We have CCTV footage of the thief and I will release it. I’m also offering a reward to anyone who turns it in. I will personally pay them £500 if they give me his name, address or contact details so I can contact him because I won’t even waste my time with the police because they are a huge waste.

‘If the police decide that they will not take action when I hand the thief over to them, I will launch a private investigation… which they do in nine cases out of ten these days in this country. Absolutely ugly.

‘We have extensive CCTV footage of him examining and stealing these items. I’ll just release a tiny bit.’

Castle Goring is located just off the A27 north of Worthing, a few kilometers from Arundel.

The seaside resort of Worthing has long been popular with celebrities. Harold Pinter once lived in the area, and Oscar Wilde wrote The Importance of Being Earnest while staying in a hotel there.

Celebrity Traitors star Joe Marler started his rugby career at Worthing Rugby Club and those currently living nearby include Des Lynam, John Inverdale and Lizzie Webb.

More than £600 million worth of packages ordered by Brits were stolen last year, a stunning investigation has revealed.

Experts have warned shoppers to be careful ahead of Christmas this year after it was revealed that almost five million households had fallen victim to so-called “porch pirates” in 12 months.

Analysts said this equates to a roughly 31 percent increase in annual package theft, but the true extent of the problem is unknown because so few people report lost shipments to police.

And thefts cost shoppers dearly. The average value of a parcel stolen by an opportunistic criminal rose from £102 to £138 last year.

Unsurprisingly, police data provided to the Daily Mail shows that the busiest time of year for parcel thieves is December, followed closely by November.

In fact, to the chagrin of Black Friday and Christmas shoppers, around 28 per cent of all thefts between July 2024 and June this year were reported during the festive shopping period, up by a fifth on last year.
