Performer launches Gaza flag protest on Royal Opera House stage

A player at the Royal Opera House opened a Palestinian flag on the stage during a curtain call on Saturday.
The video shows a short friction as an official in the London venue, and the artist refused to quit the big flag.
He came at the closing night of Il Trovatore, a four -active opera of Giuseppe Verdi.
The Royal Opera House said the protest was “completely inappropriate for a curtain call”.
A spokesman said: “The screening of the flag was a spontaneous and unauthorized action by the artist.
“The royal is not approved by the Ballet and its opera, and is not compatible with our commitment to political impartiality.”
A player standing at the top of the scene is gently shaking at some point, exhibiting a great Palestinian flag in the videos of the event.
While the audience continues to applaud the performance, it is seen that a man from the stage wings is trying to remove the flag from the cast, but they resist and hold for the rest of the curtain call.
Other officials were standing on the wings, then texting the cast.
Magdalini liousaA member of the audience published X in X: “Tonight at the Royal Opera House extraordinary scenes.
“One of the background artists waving the Palestinian flag during the call for curtain for Il Trovatore.
“He just stood there, no slope or shouting. One of the scene tried to get him out of him. Incredible.”
The player is unidentified, but Il Trovatore has now finished his 11 -night run at the Covent Garden Royal Opera House.
The protest comes as the war between Israel and Gaza continued, and the ceasefire has not yet been shot.
