At high-profile events, Charlotte looked very confident. During the traditional Easter Sunday service at Windsor Castle, she was seen confidently walking ahead of her parents and waving to the crowd.

Similarly, at Christmas at Sandringham Manor, Charlotte wowed well-wishers by greeting fans, accepting gifts and even hugging members of the public, greeting the late Queen Elizabeth II. It has led to comparisons to a “mini version” of Elizabeth.

According to former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond, Charlotte’s poise stems from a stable upbringing.

He told the Mirror: “I think confidence in any child comes from a happy and stable home life. And that’s exactly what William and Catherine have worked so hard to achieve for their children. Judging by the three of them, their parents have done a good job.”

Bond added that Charlotte stood out during the Easter trip: “Charlotte was by far the most comfortable looking person in front of the cameras and the crowds… Like her mother, she looks effortlessly elegant. I think she’s living proof that the Prince and Princess are absolutely right to put their family first.”

He continued: “In recent years the royal family has been labeled, for some reason, as one of the most dysfunctional families in the country and this needs to change.

“William and Catherine have faced criticism for making this change, but I think it has made a very significant difference.”

Despite her confidence in the public eye, Charlotte and her brothers, including Prince Louis, are carefully guarded against overexposure. Children attend Lambrook School, where they enjoy a relatively private school life.

Outside of her royal duties, Charlotte is said to share many interests typical of her age. She loves dancing, gymnastics, and is reportedly a fan of Taylor Swift. Prince William has previously spoken of his excitement about making friendship bracelets inspired by the pop star, even wearing one labeled “Dad” during a trip to South Africa.

Meanwhile, Catherine revealed Charlotte’s love of ballet, a passion she shared with her late grandmother Diana, Princess of Wales.

Bond added: “He’s also sporty, like his mother… He’s keen to try his hand at all kinds of activities, from tap dancing to tennis, steeplechasing and horse riding.”

Looking ahead, Charlotte’s future role within the monarchy remains unclear. Despite being third in line to the throne, Bond suggested a more flexible approach could be taken.

“I suspect a life of full-time royal duty eventually awaits the young princess, but if that’s not what she wants, I don’t think it’s something her parents will insist on,” he said.

“This is a new era that will give some young royals a little more choice.”

The celebrations are expected to be special as Charlotte celebrates her birthday. His grandfather was King Henry III. Charles may not be present on his overseas trip to the United States and Bermuda.

But for now, the young princess continues to command admiration not only for her public appeal but also as a symbol of modern royal education.
