Rashi Peripherals acquires 67% stake in VDA Infosolutions for ₹368.5 crore
Information and communications technology (ICT) company Rashi Peripherals Ltd (RP Tech) has acquired a 67% stake in enterprise technology and digital infrastructure solutions company VDA Infosolutions. ₹368.5 crore.
According to RP Tech’s filing with the stock exchanges, the company will receive 33% of the balance within three years through a pre-defined mechanism. The value of VDA was determined ₹550 crore.
VDA Infosolutions provides services related to enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud computing, enterprise storage, cybersecurity and overall data lifecycle management. The company serves many major technology companies, including IBM, Dell Technologies, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Red Hat, Commvault, Cohesity, Hitachi, Vantara, Checkpoint and Nutanix.
RP Tech’s acquisition of VDA Infosolutions comes at a time when India’s IT spending is expected to reach $176 billion in 2026, up 10.6% from 2025.
According to Gartner’s report in November 2025, data center systems are expected to record the highest growth at 20.5%, while software is expected to grow at 17.6% and IT services are expected to grow at 11.1%.
“This momentum [in IT Services] “Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) is being driven by strong corporate investments in consulting and application modernization,” Gartner VP analyst DD Mishra wrote in the report.
For Rashi Peripherals, this transaction allows the company to capitalize on the growing demand for AI-enabled IT environments, advanced data center solutions, cybersecurity and hybrid IT managed services.
“VDA Infosolutions’ strong enterprise technology and digital infrastructure expertise and proven deployment capabilities enhance our ability to deliver advanced solutions in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data protection and cloud infrastructure to our enterprise customers,” Kapal Mansari, managing director of Rashi Peripherals, said in a statement.
Mumbai-based VDA, which started operations in 2010, has increased its revenue roughly ₹850 crore.
“By combining RP Tech’s strong OEM relationships and financial strength with our technical expertise, we aim to tap into the fast-growing markets in AI, digitization and enterprise solutions and unlock much greater opportunities across the country,” Deepak Jadhav, founding director of VDA Infosolutions, said in a statement.
Rashi Peripherals started in 1989 as a distributor of ICT products and solutions, serving as a link between a global network of technological original equipment manufacturers and channel partners. The company serves pan-India locations across 700 locations supported by 56 branches, 50 service centers and 71 warehouses.
The company has two main verticals: personal computing and enterprise solutions, and lifestyle and IT basics. It offers a range of services including pre-sales activities, solution design, technical support, marketing services, credit solutions and warranty management.
