Sarah Ferguson could face ‘heartbreak’ just weeks before Eugenie gives | Royal | News

Princess Eugenie, along with the royal family and her husband Jack Brooksbank, are preparing to welcome their third child any day now and are undoubtedly excited to welcome the new addition to the family.
Although the 36-year-old will be a mother for the third time, the state of her relationship with her family is probably something that’s on her mind. It was previously reported that Eugenie had cut ties with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, while her current relationship with Sarah Ferguson was unknown.
Sarah is known to be a doting grandmother, and with Eugenie’s birth on the horizon, the possibility of her not being able to be in her new grandchild’s life is something one royal expert has discussed.
Royal expert Jennie Bond said: Mirror: “We know that Fergie has been a doting grandmother to her four little grandchildren and I’m sure she would be heartbroken to be excluded from this wonderful new chapter in Eugenie and Jack’s life.
“But that depends on her daughter, who spends most of her life in Portugal these days.”
She also shared that she thought Eugenie and Jack might post a photo of their newest bundle of joy, but some members of the family probably wouldn’t be included.
She added: “I think the couple will release a photo of the new arrival in due course, but I certainly don’t expect to see either Andrew or Sarah featured in it.”
Eugenie’s third pregnancy was revealed in early May with a statement revealing exactly what the King thought of his niece’s exciting news.
As well as announcing that the baby will be born this summer, it was also said that his two little boys, five-year-old August and three-year-old Ernest, were “excited” for a new sibling.
The statement included the following: “His Majesty the King has been informed and is very pleased with this news.”
