Sex offender bailed, ‘any hapless woman could be next’

A mechanist who captured a young hitchhiker and harassing an autistic woman who needs help and refused to target a third victim in need.
56 -year -old Robert William Lyford was given bail despite the concern of a judge to be the next victim of “any unlucky woman”.
While visiting NSW Northern Rivers to help him move, he struggles with the accusations he has sexually touched a 58 -year -old woman.
The daughter of the alleged victim asked for help through a local Facebook group.
Lyford, who works by doing cash mechanic works, was in the woman’s house when he was allegedly hugging him on the evening of May 28th and squeezing his hips.
“The defendant asked the victim whether he was single or whether he wanted friends who have benefits.”
He returned home the next day.
Although the fearful woman initially took refuge in a neighbor’s house, she approached Lyford after seeing that she wouldn’t finally leave.
He is then accused of hugging him, holding his chest and putting his hand on the groin.
The 56 -year -old was arrested by the police on June 3 and was detained for more than three months.
However, despite the concerns of prosecution that he might disturb again, he received bail by the NSW Supreme Court on 25 September.

Lyford was imprisoned in 2023 after sexual crimes against two women.
After going home to mow his grass and move to the end of the garbage, and then to be friends with benefits, a 40 -year -old autistic woman harassed an autistic woman.
