Sridhar Babu Inaugurates Baker Hughes Manufacturing Facility in Siddipet
Hyderabad: Minister for IT and Industry D Sridhar Babu inaugurated the “Dedicated Lean Manufacturing Facility for Baker Hughes” at Azad – Center for Excellence and Innovation Center in TGIIC Industrial Park at Tuniki Bollaram, Mulugu Mandal in Siddipet district.
The facility was built on an area of 7,600 m2.
Baker Hughes, a US-based global energy technology company, operates in 120 countries worldwide with a strong presence in sectors such as Oilfield Services and Equipment (OFSE), Industrial and Energy Technology (IET), and Technology and Digital Solutions.
The newly opened unit will focus on the manufacturing of high-precision products required for the Industrial and Energy Technologies (IET) division.
This facility is expected to create employment for more than 230 highly skilled professionals, further strengthen the manufacturing ecosystem and increase the global footprint of ‘Made in Telangana’.
