Beijing: China has officially unveiled its most advanced military aircraft yet. The J-36 is a sleek, tailless sixth-generation stealth fighter. Military analysts say the jet’s emergence marks a new phase in China’s quest for air superiority. Described as “UFO-like” and “one of the most advanced aircraft ever built”, the aircraft showcases the country’s growing ability to produce indigenous technology to rival the West’s defense capabilities.

It was reported that the first test flight took place on December 26, symbolically the birth anniversary of Chairman Mao Zedong, the founder of the People’s Republic of China.
