Why Pawan Kalyan Gifted The Luxury Car To Sujeeth

According to a source close to the film, on December 18, the internet was abuzz with reports claiming that Pawan Kalyan had gifted a luxury car to director Sujeeth to celebrate the “huge” success of OG.

“The gift wasn’t to mark OG’s success,” the source says. “Pawan wanted to pay Sujeeth the entire program which the director himself had financed.”

Apparently, Sujeeth paid for OG’s Japan schedule after the producer refused to approve the expenses due to budget constraints. “Pawan wanted to compensate Sujeeth for the Japan schedule but Sujeeth refused to accept the money. The car was Pawan’s way of repaying him,” the source adds.

The actor and director will reunite for the sequel to OG, which is scheduled to be released in 2026.
