Deepinder Goyal, the founder of Zomato, announced that Lat Aerospace, a aviation attempt supported by him, will build commercial gas turbine engines from scratch and build something that has not been made in India before. In an article in X, Goyal said that the initiative will create a provocative research team that is commercially appropriate to design and build commercially suitable gas turbine engines in Bengaluru.

Lat Aviation

Goyal launched Lat Aerospace with Surobhi Das, the founding partner of the aviation initiative this year. Lat Aerospace follows the regional air travel segment.
