TN Govt Launches 24×7 Online Document Registration System

Chennai: The Tamil Nadu government on Sunday launched the ‘Anywhere Registration’ system to simplify document registration procedures. According to a statement issued by the state secretariat, the facility allows people to register documents online from anywhere at any time without visiting a sub-registrar’s office.
Once the registration is approved by the sub-registrar, the digitally signed document will be sent to the user’s account and shared via WhatsApp on the registered mobile number.
It was stated that interested parties can download the document through their own user accounts.
According to the guide, documents suitable for registration in the system include first sale deeds of plots, first sale deeds of flats or flats, Tamil Nadu Housing Board sales documents and mortgage and receipt documents for bank loans.
Users can create login accounts on the Registration Department’s website and submit the required documents online, the statement said.
