WATCH: Dramatic arrest at Crown casino following reports of firearm which prompted huge search

A dramatic arrest took place at Crown Casino after police investigated a report of a man with long-armed firearms pointing a gun at another motorist from a car in Burswood.
Bodycam footage shows a man being chased, tackled to the ground and handcuffed by police on a playground.
No gun was found, but police did find a new gun-shaped lighter found in the casino’s food court restrooms.
A 31-year-old man from Thornlie has been charged with being armed in a way that creates fear and carrying a weapon in or near public entertainment venues.
Police said they received a report of a firearm pointed at another driver from a white sedan on Teddington Road at 10am.
A vehicle matching the description was later seen pulling into the Crown Casino parking lot on Bolton Avenue.
The 31-year-old man was one of two people detained. A man in his 40s was also arrested but released without charge.
Perth detectives continue to investigate the incident.
The Thornlie man was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Friday, May 22.
