Zendaya is inspired by a Greek goddess in backless gown as she joins co-stars Lupita Nyong’o, Anne Hathaway and husband Tom Holland at The Odyssey London photocall

She is known for her incredible looks that are breaking new ground on the promotional trail.
And Zendaya wowed as she promoted her new movie The Odyssey alongside co-stars Lupita Nyong’o, Anne Hathaway and Samantha Morton at the IET Building in London on Sunday.
The foursome looked incredible for the event, where 29-year-old Zendaya, whose co-star Tom Holland was also in attendance, showed off a dramatic draped number with a matching headscarf.
Lupita’s look complemented Zendaya’s; While she wore a billowy black and white number, Anne opted for a hip-hugging white mini and knee-high boots.
The entire cast was present at the event, as were the four actresses, including Benny Safdie, John Leguizamo, Tom Holland, Matt Damon, Robert Pattinson, Himesh Patel, director Christopher Nolan and Emma Thomas.
The film, starring Christopher, is an adaptation of Homer’s ancient Greek epic Odyssey; In this film, the Greek King embarks on a dangerous journey home after the Trojan War in order to be reunited with his beloved wife Penelope.

Lupita Nyong’o, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya and Samantha Morton (LR) were pulling the plug on the movie
Benny Safdie, Lupita Nyong’o, John Leguizamo, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon, Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, Himesh Patel, Samantha Morton, director Christopher Nolan and Emma Thomas (LR) posed at the event.
Known for her “method dressing,” where Zendaya styles her look around the theme of her film, she wore a pair of gold Greek earrings from Barron London.
Mounted on a contemporary earring made of 18 carat yellow gold and diamonds, it dates back to B.C. He was wearing ancient disks dating back to the 1st millennium BC.
She also chose to wear an Old Mine Cut oval diamond ring set in yellow gold, all by Barron London, as well as a selection of ‘Twist’ and Marquise diamond rings set in yellow gold.
Her outfit was simple yet stunning, thanks to the bare back and hats.
While they didn’t pose together, Zendaya’s husband Tom, who plays Telemachus, son of Odysseus and prince of Ithaca, was nearby and was seen leaving the event clutching his England football jersey ahead of the team’s match against Brazil.
Anne, who plays the character of Penelope in the film, looked like she was inspired by the 2000s by pairing her white dress with a pair of suede knee-high boots while keeping her beauty look simple.
Although the film is in the safe hands of Oscar-winning director Christopher, fans have yet to fully agree on the casting.
In what has been dubbed ‘the most extreme project to date’ and featuring an incredibly starry cast, Christopher’s pressure to win over critics is like no other.

She gave her best poses for the camera

Already known for his impressive artistry and big-budget fare, Christopher’s latest film may be his most ambitious yet, with a $250 million budget – the most expensive film of his career – and his first to be shot entirely with IMAX 70mm cameras.
Stars Matt Damon and Anne joined forces with Elliot Page, as well as Zendaya, Tom Holland, Lupita, Charlize Theron, Robert Pattinson and Travis Scott.
Matt plays the protagonist Odysseus, while Devil Wears Prada icon Anne portrays his devoted queen who is forced to fend off potential suitors in her husband’s absence.
Yet the film has received a lot of attention for all the wrong reasons, from sparking backlash for its “bizarre” casting to being accused of fueling “brutal oppression” and sending Elon Musk into collapse.
Christopher recently defended Musk’s decision to cast Kenyan actress Nyong’o in the film after she said the casting was ‘historically incorrect’.
Nyong’o, 43, will portray Clytemnestra, sister of Helen of Troy, and was named People Magazine’s ‘Most Beautiful Woman’ in 2014, following her triumphant Best Supporting Actress Oscar win for 12 Years a Slave.

The leading ladies looked sensational
Nolan defended his cast, saying: ‘I hope they enjoy the movie, even if they don’t agree with everything. The earliest depictions of Homeric characters tend to be depicted in the style of people living in Homer’s time…
‘So there’s a pretty strong case for depicting things this way because that’s how the original audience perceived the story.’
Musk was called out by The View host Sunny Hostin in January for his remarks about the cast. He said: ‘Anyone can play a fictional character. It doesn’t need to be a white person playing this role.’
He added: ‘I guess when we’re talking about someone like Elon Musk we have to call something a ‘thing’… We know what that is. He is a white supremacist. In my opinion he is a racist.’
Emmy winner Alec Baldwin has since weighed in on Musk’s anti-woke campaign against Nolan’s film.
Baldwin publicly expressed her support for Nyong’o and Nolan, writing on Instagram: ‘Dear Elon… but she is the most beautiful woman in the world… Alec.’
They were also liked by Robert Pattinson and Himesh Patel.
