Dua Lipa’s new husband Callum Turner ‘broke down in tears as he saw her walk down the aisle as the couple married in modest legal ceremony with just eight guests before celebrating with a quiet family dinner’

Dua Lipa’s stunning legal wedding outfit reportedly left husband Callum Turner in tears as the couple tied the knot at a London register office on Sunday.

The couple exchanged their wedding vows in a low-key ceremony with just eight guests at the famous Marylebone Town Hall, ahead of a lavish three-day celebration in Sicily this weekend.

Sources revealed Callum was “shaking” as he walked Dua down the aisle alongside the hitman’s parents Dukagjin and Anesa, sister Rina and brother Gjin.

An insider said: ‘She was in tears and shaking.’

Onlookers said the couple did not attract much attention from passersby, but Dua’s security team were seen canvassing the area before she and Callum left the registry office.

The newlyweds departed in a simple black taxi before enjoying a quiet family dinner to celebrate.

A source told Sun: ‘Dua and Callum said their vows at a ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends. They had a quiet celebratory dinner last night. It was elegant and simple; It was exactly what Dua and Callum wanted.

‘Dua’s father and manager Dugi is a huge Arsenal fan so there were a few jokes about the timing as the Premier League victory parade wasn’t happening too far away at the same time. Both he and Dua’s mother, Anesa, were beaming with pride.

‘The celebration was relatively low-key as they flew to Sicily this week for their second big wedding.’

Dua exuded bridal elegance with her custom Schiaparelli skirt set, white gloves, Bulgari necklace and wide-brimmed white hat designed by milliner Stephen Jones.

The Houdini singer wore a yellow bouquet and white Louboutin heels as she left the registry office hand in hand with her new husband.

Meanwhile, Callum got ready for a dapper groom in a fitted navy blue suit.

Dua appeared to channel Bianca Jagger in a bridal look that exuded ’70s glamour.

Former actress Bianca wore a white Yves Saint Laurent tuxedo and a long, bias-cut silk skirt when she married music legend Mick Jagger in 1971. He was accessorised with an oversized hat.

Dua and Callum were applauded by close family before they jumped into the back of a black taxi and embraced as they were whisked away to begin married life together.

Family members joked about Dua’s low-key departure from the wedding, saying she wanted a black taxi for her big day.

Ahead of the ceremony, insiders are hailing the couple’s nuptials as the “showbiz wedding of the year” and describing it as Sicily’s most high-profile marriage since Al Pacino’s Michael Corleone married Apollonia Vitelli in the 1972 classic The Godfather.

No expense was spared for the big day, with the couple reportedly booking an entire floor at the luxury Villa Igiea hotel overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The ceremony will take place at the 17th-century Villa Valguarnera, perhaps the most magnificent of the villas in Bagheria, an idyllic town ten miles from the capital.

Sir Elton John, Mark Ronson and Charli XCX, as well as fashion world’s Donatella Versace and Simon Porte Jacquemus, are among the music stars who will attend.

Ahead of the wedding, Dua is believed to have traveled to Italy to meet Donatella to finalize the details of the dress she designed for the singer to wear on her big day.

Due to her long-standing friendship with the designer, friends believe Dua will wear a custom Atelier Versace gown.

A source close to the wedding told the Daily Mail’s Katie Hind: ‘This is going to be a very cool and very glamorous wedding.

‘Both Dua and Callum were thrilled and really involved in the planning. They want it to be epic.’

Confirming the news last year, Dua shared her joy with British Vogue magazine as follows: ‘Yes, we are engaged. Very exciting…

‘This decision to grow old together, to see a new life and, I don’t know, to be best friends forever is a really special feeling.’

Speaking about her wedding plans, Dua said she hopes to finish her tour and complete filming before Callum gets married.

He said: ‘I want to finish my tour, filming Callum, so we’re enjoying this period…

While the year has gotten off to a good start for newlyweds Dua and Callum, it could get even better if Callum lands the coveted James Bond job.

Sources have told the Daily Mail that Callum, the bookmakers’ favorite to take over from Daniel Craig, has told friends the role is his.

A source close to the Fantastic Beasts star said: ‘He’s been chattering all over town. Callum has been confirmed as the new Bond. Everyone around him is talking about it. ‘This is the worst kept secret.’
