Country star Nate Smith drops over 70 lbs and reveals new weight loss goal

Nate Smith is a new man thanks to his weight loss journey.
The country music star admitted that she was out of breath performing simple tasks, but losing more than 70 pounds gave her her life back.
The “Bulletproof” singer, who attended Sports Illustrated and Tight End University’s Tight Ends & Friends concert at The Pinnacle in Nashville last month, said: people magazine You have a new goal in mind.

“I think I want to get under 200 lbs,” Smith said. “So somewhere in that world I was like 275 lbs. But I want to get down to 185 lbs again.”
When asked what motivates the “Whiskey on You” singer to live a healthier lifestyle, Smith said she wants to do the best she can for her fans.

“Keeping the energy on stage and making sure I do that because I think that’s what the fans care about,” Smith said. “I feel better. It’s nice to be able to wear the clothes I like.”
“This is a big thing. I’ve been a double X for the last five or six years, so I feel really good about myself,” Smith said, referring to her red carpet outfit.

The “World on Fire” musician boasted about the endless positive benefits of his change.
“I don’t sweat anymore, which is great,” Smith said. “I was completely out of breath while tying my shoes.”

“I can jump a lot more,” he added.
Following the medical scare in 2024, Smith began addressing health issues such as overeating and drinking too much. Within a few months, the singer had lost almost 50 kilos. simply by reducing daily calorie intake.

“I still have issues with overeating,” Smith also told the outlet at the time. “And if I want to have it, I will have it.

“But I want to find a way to make it a treat rather than a lifestyle. If I decide to eat macaroni and cheese, that’s okay.”
She added: “I’m nowhere near my goal. But I’m much happier where I am and feel better about the way I look.”
