Prabhas’s ‘Spirit’ Lands Record-Breaking OTT Deal

Prabhas is currently working on a number of projects but one film is making headlines: It is none other than Spirit. The film will be directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

The grand launch of the film took place recently in Hyderabad where Chiranjeevi was the guest of honour. The producers started shooting the film last week. It is in the news that Spirit broke a new record in the OTT market even before the shooting.

If reports are to be believed, a leading streaming platform is said to have acquired the digital rights of Spirit for a whopping sum of Rs 160 million. The movie received huge attention even before the teaser or posters were released.

As for Spirit, Prabhas will be essaying the role of a police officer in the film. Tripti Dimri, who rose to fame with Animal, will be playing the female lead opposite Prabhas.

Spirit is expected to be released in 2027.
