‘Shoddy’ home constructed by banned Perth builders NicheLiving leaves woman homeless

A woman is homeless after being ruined by a “incompetent yapıl builder who uses telecommunication pipes instead of suitable PVC in the sanitary installation.

Kathy Ellis, a resident of Perth, lived in a caravan for years while waiting for the prohibited Perth builders to be completed by Nicheliving.

When he could finally move home, his dreams were cut quickly while he was torn around the house.

Another builder who completed the work found that the ethite and shower were not related to the plumbing and that the plumber telecommunication pipes were used.

A $ 100,000 damage invoice was left to correct the chaos.

Nine news images show a drop of water from the ceiling when they use molds that grow through the house and taps on the upper floor.

Ms. Ellis cut holes on the roof to collect water pouring into the buckets on the ground floor of the newly built house.

“The resulting evaluator is worried that the weight of the water will actually allow the ceiling to fall,” he said.

“He discovered that there were PVC pipes instead of plumbing pipes on the ceiling.

“He laughed and said: ‘This must be a joke.’

“I said, ‘No, it was built by Niche Living’ and ‘Oh, okay’ he says.

“Stress of all this – I can’t sleep, then I wake up at 4 in the morning.”

Nationals WA leader Shane Love called on the state government to support and support Mrs. Ellis and other families, who were left by Nicheliving with poor quality work and missing houses.

Last year, the state government banned Nicheliving directors from building for 10 years and provided about $ 40 million to finish missing homes for Nicheliving customers.

However, Mr. Love said that it is not enough to meet the damage of disability costs and very little support.

“Kathy has very few sources because of the compensation agreement signed by the Cook workers’ government, which protects Nicheliving and directors from more punishments, once again because of Nichelive’s inadequacy.”

“And its limited home compensation insurance does not cover the scale of the damage.”

Mr. Love said the government has signed an agreement and should take responsibility to solve the problems according to the situation.

“The government’s extra cost may be millions, but the cost of doing the right thing after turning a blind eye to the problems caused by Nikeliving years later,” he said.

“When the government is currently able to act, families should not be left to chase the construction commissioner or the state administrative court.

“The cook workers’ party should stop dragging their feet, stop hiding behind legal agreements and do the right thing for the WA families who have already suffered enough.”

The government was contacted for a comment.
